Apples, Apples, Apples

Applesauce is such a process and I tend to forget how much work it is til the next year when we start all over again. The children were such a big help and we got 25 quarts done tuesday evening and then my friend Sara came on wednsday and we got another 50 quarts done!
It so rewarding to think of that in our freezer and the family eats it so many ways and so many times a week it a major staple here. I need to remember to write down my varieties that I put together and which ones we like over the years and now since I have been journaling my journey with Ashton I am getting better at making lists and notes of things I want to remember.
Have a blessed fall day!
