Fall is here!

I sure do think Fall is one of my favorite seasons of the year. Getting the garden in and put up for the winter....Making applesauce......drinking warm cider...oh I could go on!
I was feeling a little left out of things lately and feeling sorry for myself that I wasn't able to participate in church functions or even church going as I have made that sacrifice for Ashton to hopefully give him a healthier start to his first winter and if it were any other baby I would not be doing this but he has a lower immune system and so this is one thing I can do as a mom for him.
But then one day as I was being quiet with the Lord a thought came to me that I don't need Mountain top experiences everyday and God never promised that to us but He did promise to be with us and even tho I may be alone in my home with a infant for most of the time these days I still have God with me and I am not alone ever!
Dale is leaving for South Carolina for Gospel Express Prison Crusade this week. He leaves 3 AM Wednsday morning and gets back late sunday evening.So while I am a rather independant woman and the thought of being alone for that amount of time doesn't scare me but I do ask for prayer to stay calm in the evenings as it is nice to have daddy around for devotions and getting the bedtime routine down with him along and it goes better too....Anyhow I was wondering how my week would be going and this morning I have had 7 phonecalls all from people wondering what my week is holding....so yea people actually do care about little ole me.....lol! Well I must be off to get some ebay stuff ready to ship and the its off to get 2 kiddos from school for a checkup at the dentist. Have a blessed day!
