Yea! School is almost out!

Wow I think May has gone incredibly fast! I will be so glad when this last week is over.....I guess I get so tired of the non school stuff that takes up their time when I feel they could have maybe gotten out even earlier. We had the school picnic on Saturday and that was ok but it was so cold and chilly and even dripped at times which made for a long afternoon when your huddled outside watching ball games!
Just 1 month ago my sister and husband were here for a quick weekend visit to meet Ashton and wow I can't believe that was a month ago! Time flies when you're busy again!
No strawberries seem to be making it this year so YEA we won't have to do any of them up...I get a rash from picking and so does Marina and she is my best picker but nobody will be too dissappointed I don't think!
Our garden is all planted and our patio is finished too!
Last week Dale and I transplanted a bunch of stuff and planted a few things I got from a friend so I think I'm about done fussing with my flower beds now.
I love to be outside but my allergies really have been acting up here of late which makes me so miserable and tired.
Ashton conitues to grow and loves to stand at furniture and gets so excited when he sees Daddy and shakes his head NO!

Tea

Who likes the flavor of good Lancaster County Meadow Tea? Well I for one do and I'm so thankful for this refreshing drink to have on hand all summer long for my thirsty crew! I have a bountiful patch and this spring have been tearing up roots to give away to the needy who love it and can't get enough!
However i also am very fond of the new Southern Brew from Swiss and it is yummy! Its almost....get this... ALMOST as good as the South Carolina Prison inmates Sweet Tea! Yup! they make a MEAN brew! My one girlfriend moved down there and now SHE makes it too! Its very simple really but I am too lazy to perfect it and so I rely onother sources!
Now get this! MCDONALDS is selling Sweet Tea too! Yea its a huge cup like 32 ounces for 1.00! I am loving this!

May is here!

Well it looks like spring is here now! We have our garden started with some seeds of radishes and lettuce and some new strawberry plants as well this year.
The children are getting anxious for school to be done and I must say it will be nice to have summer upon us soon too!
Dale has a patio in progress now and new grass is coming up in the yard where he put the extra soil from digging out the patio area.
Ashton is gettin around on the floor now and is never in the same spot we left him. So we don;t know if he is rolling everytime or moving in circles or what.
