Summer....Canning Season...

Ah the beans have begun to flow thru the kitchen now ending up in steaming hot jars for the winter! As much work as it is....well it's so nice to run down (or have the kids run) and heat it up in the microwave real quick for a veggie...
Birthdays are upon us...Shannon turned 14 today!!! He is as tall as dad now and doubt if he'll stop yet.....He comes in real handy for hanging up laundry and tall cupboard shelves!
The twins turn 10 on August 2nd! CANNOT believe they are that old already but then I do have another teenager on the horizon with Marina turning 13 in November...
Ashton will be 2 on 8-8-08! We are planning a HUGE celebration of his life with us and have over 60 people invited so far....Hoping for nice weather....o well it will be fine if it isn't our whole basement is open so it should be fine!
