New Roof!

Here is a view from the back yard of them working on the roof.
That little buggy you see on the ground could be driven anywhere with a few levers at the base and cleanup was very minimum! We were accident free as well Praise the Lord!

New Roof!

Here is the front of the roof with my son Brandon in the bottom corner and Dale in the red shirt &our Ukranian friends (our church has sponserednumerous families from Russia over the years and this family with 10 children was our most recent) Dad Hriska& Andrey & Dale's brother in law Matt with back to camera.This was a very steep roof & they were belted on!

Life is Good!

We are having really chilly weather right now which it to funny because last year we already had the air conditioner's in!
Well Dale is in his glory with the cooler weather ..........
The roof is all on with no accidents and we had god weather in spite of a few moments of questionable clouds in the horizon.
The there was a lovely baby shower for me on sunday afternoon and we recieved alot of wonderful useful items and now we need to wait 10-12 more weeks for bay to arrive!
Dale is planning on buying lumber to make the boys bunkbed. Then we can try to make a nursery for baby!

Today is a cold blustery day totally reminds me of canadian springtime which tends to go into summer as well...lol!
I am feeling a little more on top of the weekend situation food wise as several women brought baked items over for us...It rained a lovely shower this morning and looks like it could more as well. I wonder what the evening holds as a bunch of guys are coming to rip off one side of the roof tonight already in prepation for tomorrow's big day.....

Life never ceases to amaze me! Today was the first grade Mother's Day Tea and they really did a super job at making us feel like queens!
Track and Field was today as well since it rained on monday it was postponed til today!
Tommorow Dale has off which is nice because we have alot of things going on this weekend like getting a new roof put on saturday Lord willing......So I'll be busy getting food preperations together to feed the crew. It's also the school picnic so that will keep me stepping on saturday morning.
I'm still trying to figure this whole blog thing out but hopefully can get some pictured up to show off.......life at the Nolt's.....sigh!
